We are a well-established general practice law firm serving clients across Northeast Georgia and Metro-Atlanta Area. Our practice areas include civil litigation, family law, real estate, criminal defense, probate, Insurance, and business law. We are dedicated to providing high-quality legal representation with a client-centered approach, and we are seeking an associate attorney who values professionalism, integrity, and community engagement.

Position Overview
The Associate Attorney will work closely with partners and senior attorneys to handle a wide range of cases across multiple practice areas. This role is ideal for a motivated attorney who thrives in a collaborative environment, is eager to learn, and wants to grow within a general practice setting.

Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda to support litigation and transactional matters.
  • Manage case files, maintain client communication, and provide timely updates.
  • Assist in court appearances, trial prep, and business transactions.
  • Work with clients from intake through resolution of cases.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on strategy and case preparation.
  • Participate in firm marketing and community involvement activities as needed.

Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission (or pending admission) to the Georgia Bar.
  • 0–3 years of legal experience (newly licensed attorneys encouraged to apply).
  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills.
  • Desire to work in a small-firm environment with broad exposure to different areas of law.

Preferred Skills
  • Prior clerkship or law firm experience.
  • Familiarity with Northeast Georgia courts and local practice.
  • Spanish language proficiency (a plus but not required).
