We are a well-established general practice law firm serving clients across Northeast Georgia and Metro-Atlanta Area. Our practice areas include civil litigation, family law, real estate, criminal defense, probate, Insurance, and business law. We are dedicated to providing high-quality legal representation with a client-centered approach, and we are seeking an associate attorney who values professionalism, integrity, and community engagement.
The Associate Attorney will work closely with partners and senior attorneys to handle a wide range of cases across multiple practice areas. This role is ideal for a motivated attorney who thrives in a collaborative environment, is eager to learn, and wants to grow within a general practice setting.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda to support litigation and transactional matters.
- Manage case files, maintain client communication, and provide timely updates.
- Assist in court appearances, trial prep, and business transactions.
- Work with clients from intake through resolution of cases.
- Collaborate with colleagues on strategy and case preparation.
- Participate in firm marketing and community involvement activities as needed.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Admission (or pending admission) to the Georgia Bar.
- 0–3 years of legal experience (newly licensed attorneys encouraged to apply).
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills.
- Desire to work in a small-firm environment with broad exposure to different areas of law.
- Prior clerkship or law firm experience.
- Familiarity with Northeast Georgia courts and local practice.
- Spanish language proficiency (a plus but not required).
